i dont know what to call it

every once in a while my 03 while under mild acceleration will act strange.
it feels like a wheel slips the truck jerks a little i noticed earlier today at the same time this happens my low fuel pressure light comes on just for a second.
no codes no cel. any ideas would you think it was fuel related? something like a weak relief valve or something. these common rails are a little new to me. the only common rail cummins im used to working on are a little bigger and come in multiples of 855 cu in.

Before you do anything else, service the filters and make sure the bottom of the injection pump itself is not slightly damp from fuel leakage.

If that stops the trouble you are good to go, if not get the codes scanned by someone that knows what they are looking for and can read the companion codes along with the main codes, and then understands the relationship of the codes to real problems. Do not rely on Timmy Dogood the cleark at the local parts store with his discount scanner that only reads part of the codes.

this is with new filters and the pump is dry i have modus and no codes show up.
the low fuel pressure light is an add on that most every piece of equipment i have has. it is just a light on the dash with a hobbs switch in the feed line. the light comes on solid at 6.5 psi

Sounds like a bad electrical connection.

I don't think your Raptor should be dropping to 6.5psi. That's where my stock canister mount one is under acceleration......
