between 20 and 30 mph on accel and decell i get this howling noise it seems to be coming from the tranny area, im also noticing vibration at the same time. will a U joint make that noise?



I also am looking to replace the Exhaust system, its just straight piped and kind of obnoxiously loud, looking for a good aftermartket that will still make it sound good..truck is stock btw.

i got extended warranty so im looking for ideas before i take it in to the dealer and them tell me they cant find nothing.

Yes, it could and probably is a ujoint.

 

The driveshaft support bearing will do that too.

My dad bough diamond eye for his 2005 as well and its worked out great for him as well. its run me about 358.00 flat no tax.
