I didn't see any noticable mileage gain either. But, I didn't buy it for the mileage gain. I bought it to clean my injectors, and it did that quite well. My idle is better and the injectors are quieter.

My opinion:
Doing a little math. With current fuel prices ($2.49 around me) and average mpg for my truck (19mpg). Picking up 1 mpg only saves me $3 per tank. My bottle cost $13. So it would take almost 5 tanks for the bottle to pay for itself with mileage gains. There is only enough there for 4 tanks if I use 8oz. per tank. If I was buying Meaner Power Cleaner soley to increase my mileage, I would be losing money. It costs me more than it saves me. Same could be said for all the aditives. But, I don't use them to increase mileage.

Since Howe's doesn't claim to have any cetane booster in it, what do you guys think about mixing Howe's and PS (grey bottle) together? 4oz Howe's and 8oz PS.....Is it safe or would there be some sort of chemical reaction?

i just did that exact thing on my road trip this weekend. but i mixed alot heavier than you want to. i always dump in a full bottle of ps and this time i used 1/2 bottle howe's on the way down and then when i filled up for the drive home did the same again. i did not notice any difference with the mix. i will stick with just the ps.

I just put some on my last fill up and I did notice an increase in mileage but not anything else. But like its been said before, "clean injectors is more important".

So far Stanadyne has been the best for me. Its all in one additive antigel, cetane boost and lubrication.
I used redline, Howes and PS and this is by far the best stuff

I've been mixing 8 oz PS and 8 oz 2 Stroke every tank. Can I mix Howes with 2 Stroke oil? I'd like to give it a try but want to continue using 2 Stroke oil also.

I hate to burst your bubble, but due to federal regulations, Crisco and Johnson's Baby Oil are banned as fuel additives due to their high transfat content!

I see alot of different numbers on the amount of Howes added per tank. How is it calculated how much to add.
