how many miles on ball joints???
I should add that I'm the 2nd owner the PO ran 35" tires for the first 8k miles. When I got the truck at 8k I swapped down to 285/70. Tires are usually a factor, so worth mentioning.
Ball joints
The thing about ball joints its hard for you or any one to tell if you even need them it's just a way to make money.Remember if the dealer replaces them on warranty he gets payed i dont trust any one on my front end after a bad time at a shop i went to.Went in to get front end lined up and the thing had a new front end and you would not belive the things he said need changed and i took it out of that shop and went another shop and told guy that it was all new he lined it and told me the front end was in great shap and it drove like new and the tiers lasted 70 thousand miles. On two wheel drive take a big bar with your truck and put it under the bottom ball joint and pick up on it like your trying to pick the truck up if there bad there will be slack up and down you can see slack in it .Ball joints go bad when you run lots of rough roads every day and a bues your truck then they will go 1000 miles under sever conditions. On all the other things that could be bad like tierod ends they are easy for any body to see the slack in them.
