How does one know if they have

the 48RE transmission?

Also, from reading post is the 04.5 a HO engine even if it doesn't have the HO badging like before 03?
Mine says 325 hp and was curious if it was an HO.

I am really interested in knowing for sure if I have the 48RE transmission.

Yes, you do.

The 47RE doesn't exist after 2003.5

and you have the 600 motor which is a H.O. (although they really don't have a H.O. anymore i guess). and like phox said, you have the 48RE.
