how do you pull codes

On the 05 below?

Cycle the key off and on three times fast and the codes will come up in the odometer area. Or use a handheld unit, they will usually loan them to you at a auto parts store.

Flip the key on and off three times. Don't start the motor tho. you'll get your codes so you'll need a pen and paper. a code reader will work too.
