Mine gains at least 50hp if I wash/wax it on a 70 degree sunny day and then go take it for a ride with the windows down...

That's true though......

Geez that was a nice way to make someone feel welcome instead of just explaining what it was for.

He has almost 500 posts, he has been here long enough that he should know what he posted was bogus.

But I am surprised that most of the guys didn't comment that it would work if he did it with 2 oz per tank of Acetone.

Don't think for a second I believed that nonsense.

I was the first guy on the other board (a NW fishing board) that told him it was BS.

I just thought it was funny and thought you guys would get a laugh out of what the guy thought was possible with his truck.

Apparently a guy has recently discovered this about his 2005 Dodge. Here is what he says.
I can't speak for everyone, but I was laughing with you, and not at you, as I did notice the , in your original post on the subject.

What he MIGHT be doing is reseting the tranny computer. I learns how you drive and shifts accordingly. If you suddenly hook up a heavy trailer it takes a while for the tranny to "relearn" things before it adapts to shifting later for the heavy load.

Unhooking the batteries may cause its memory to reset and thus it adjusts faster.....

Just a theory.....
