High pressure fuel line question

Felt the need to tighten #1 today due to a little film of fuel around the cross tube nut and fuel line nut. When I started the truck I grabbed the #1 line and you can really feel pulsing in the line compared to the other 5, has anyone else noticed that or want to confirm if their truck is that way too?

Was reading in the FSM and it says when loosing a high pressure line re-torque the cross tube retaining nut, is this really necessary?

yes because when you loosen the injector line, the possibility of the xover tube coming loose is there. xover tube is only like 37 ftlbs of torque.

Definitely take the time to re-torque your injector tube(s), I just had to do mine, and the difference in rail pressure is night and day...it only takes a couple of hours to do them all, with very minimal tools....no.6 is the hardest, but still not more than 20mins to do. If you do this, make sure that the motor is completly cold.
