Helped a fellow CTD owner...dead lift pump
On my way to finish moving the shop I came across a Black dually with a trailer pulled over on the highway.
It was a 600 and only had 8000 kilometers on it. [5000 miles]
Dead lift pump.
Roadside assistance was there in less then 30 min and I got him hooked up with the dealer I know in town. He is on the road already.
Interesting thing that he was told by his dealer in Edmonton...
"Its probably the lift pump. Tap it with a hammer and it should work again."

No but if I had a kit with me he would've had it on his truck.
The last of the parts for the kits are in this week.
I am out of town right now. Will be on this on Monday or Tuesday.

Guess I need to add a rubber hammer to my traveling tools R&R kit.....
I got used to this issue on my 1999 and took steps to resolve it. Guess I simply need to bite the bullet and start saving for this "necessary" upgrade myself.
