Hello, I have a 2007 5.9 all stock. ( I know , its shame). coming into work this morning the check engine light came on. I looked for th codes - P0234 tubo charger over boost . I don't know what the heck that means and why I am getting it now. I know what the turbos is, where it is. But I am no diesel mechanic ( I like them, I don't get to play enough with them ). I believe light came on under accelaration from about 20 mph. I had the check engine light come on about 2 weeks ago, and it went out after about the 3rd time I started the truck ( I did not know how to check the codes). It showed up then when I was towing my 5th wheel rv home from the dealer. I had a dirty air filter then, replaced it 2 days ago with one of those stock type units from AFE. Can some help me understand what this code means , why am I getting it now, and will I hurt the truck any by using it. What to check for, etc.

Also the truck has about 60K miles.

2007 still under warranty bring truck into dealer to check....could be anyone of the following problems. Covered under Cummins warranty 100k MILES
WASTEGATE STUCK
TURBOCHARGER AND/OR WASTEGATE DAMAGE
WASTEGATE
TURBOCHARGER
WASTEGATE CONTROL VALVE
