You can take the lines off, take them to an hydrolic shop and they can fix them. I wouldn't just cut the pipe and put on clamp on rubber hoses.

Typically, wherever a hose is crimped to a pipe, underneath the crimp is a barbed end on the pipe that the hose pushes on to. I wouldn't recommend cutting the pipe, but I would carefully remove the crimp band and replace the hose. Whether you decide to use a good quality hose clamp or have it re-crimped is your choice. The benefit of the hose clamp is that it can be adjusted when it loosens up and seeps in -30 degree weather like the crimped connections always seem to. I've seen many cooler hoses attached with hose clamps, and the only ones I've seen blow off were caused by a long period of neglect.

Well I removed the flex hose with quick connects, and cut the hard line leaving the collar the quick connect butts up to so my hose clamps can not slide off. I'm all for replacing with factory parts but when the 5 dollar option doesn't leak and factory does so be it.
Now I have noticed the passenger side of my tranny cooler has a leak is this common? How do I pull the ac condenser with cracking the lines or is that not possible? I have to remove trans cooler and clean rad as its packed now with oily dust.

Dont know if its common but last week my 06 with 97k had trans fluid down the passengers side when i get home. Trans cooler was leakin on passenger side. Replaced it with a dorman brand lifetime warranty from o reilys for around 180. Did it by leaning radiator back. Unbolting and moving ac condensor forward/up without undoing lines pulled boots on intercooler and leanded it forward. It was tedious but not bad and better than completely pulling radiator in my book. Shop it around another part store was 100 bucksmore for same brand and warranty. Hollar if i can help anymore.

I noticed more line leaks so im considering going to a remote cooler at this point. The stock lines run from the trans up to the driver side off the engine block what are they tied into there?
