Had my ECM replaced and I seem to have a bad connection in the plug. I have brought it in and they have said that they have fixed the terminals. They said everything should be fine. Now I am on a trip, towing a trailer and it seems to be acting up again. All my gauges turn off and my check engine light turns on. The truck does not turn off, but my AC does.

I would like to take the plug out and check the terminals. Is there any adverse reaction to doing that? Do I need to take my negative battery terminals off?
