Exclamation Help!

Don't know why it wouldn't let me post in emergency..

However I am hoping someone can give me insight into whats wrong with my truck!

I have a 2007 Dodge 3500 5.9L

For some reason as i come to a red light and stop my truck then decides it wants to try an accelerate while my foot is still on the break. This happens in drive and reverse only. neutral and park my revs are totally normal. Some times when i slow down and go to speed backup my shifts lag, as it revs higher then normal before it'll gear up.

My truck is showing no codes when i hooked it up to a diagnostic machine.

I'm thinking it's electronic, has anyone heard of this before? if it's something simple i rather know before I have the dealership start poking around in it. they suggested replacing the fuel filter to start, but that just doesn't sound right to me as i think it would be revving up in park and neutral as well.

thanks for your feed back.

Cheers,

-Matt

I agree with Shorts it's your torque convertor going out. I have replaced several in the last few months for that same problem.

I don't know why it wouldn't let you post in the Help Forum...but if it had I would have moved it down here as you get quicker responses here simply because the folks read these forums more than the Help section
