Was just curious if you could move the compressor wheel from the 351 to the 341... then you wouldn't have to worry about plugging the solenoid hole off, etc. Or is the 341 compressor housing to small for the 351 wheel?

PDR offers their upgraded 03-04 Turbo (+60 horsepower)... maybe that is what they do?

Not worth it, you'd be better searching for a used 351cw.

Its not just the compressor wheel, its the turbine wheel also. Blocking off the port for the electronic WG control is so easy its a non-issue. Not really worth the effort to move pieces from a 351 to a 341.

What did they change with the turbine wheel for the 351?

Went from a 60mm wheel to a 65mm wheel and I think its an extended tip design.

There seems to be some conflict there. Most people think the 351 is 60/60/9

351 is 60/60-9
341 is 52/58-9 I believe. I know its considerably smaller and there were some slight internal differences
