Harsh Downshift

Ok, I have been driving this truck for about three weeks and never noticed this at all and now today it has done it twice. While slowing down to back into my parking spot at work, I can feel a harsh downshift to 1st. I pull in and park the same way every day and haven't ever noticed this. Has anyone had this? I did some searches but didn't come up with much.

When I first got my truck, it did the same thing. I took it to the dealer this is a quote of how they fixed it:

"Checked Throttle cable adjustment, found it 1/4" to short and locking tab not seated, adjusted tthrottle cable."

I haven't had the harsh downshift since, the 48RE works great!

Stock truck is too tall - I barely clear the hangin pipes, by 1/2 inch. Ain't gonna chance it - too many hanging lights and other stuff. What if the suspension flexes?

Yeah, like I'm reall griping about the truck being too tall. It'll have a 6.5" lift and 37's before too long

Sorry for the OT remark. I haven't experianced this yet.
