Hard start when hot, questions on testing.

So I have been having an issue with hard starts when my truck is hot. It really struggles to start after about 15-20 min after shutting it off hot. Injectors were replaced about two years ago with NEW bosch units from Exergy. I pulled all the connector tubes. I checked them and retorqued them. Still have the same issue. On Saturday I did some flow tests. I checked the lift pump flow, the flow was over the spec in the service manual. I checked the return flow rates for both the CP3 and the injectors. The return flow from the pump was almost at the limit of the spec. The spec is 1000ml in one min with the engine hot and running. The cup I have only goes up to 500ml so I did the test for 30 sec and I was just under the spec by about 100ml. The injectors returned almost no flow. This might be from how I did the test. I removed the return line hose from between the pump and filter bowl, I clamped off the return line on the back of the filter. The pipe coming out of the filter bowl should be injector return and pressure limiting valve flow. The pipe coming out of the CP3 is CP3 return flow. I attached a 4ft long section of 5/16 fuel line to both pipes and ran the engine. I got a lot of flow from the CP3 but none from the injectors or the pressure limiting valve. I also tested CP3 out put by removing the out put line from the rail and pushing a section of hose on to the line. I screwed up and left the clamp on the return line to the tank. The CP3 output was much higher than the min spec. The clamp being on the line may have caused that. Any input is greatly appreciated. What return flow are you guys seeing? Is it normal to have a lot from the CP3 and almost none from the injectors?
