Hand Held Electronics

I have been browsing on Cummins Website looking for software to adjust parameters on my truck. They list them for the ISB but do not mention if they will work on the dodge trucks. They can list prameters of all functions including rail pressure, boost ,EGT, water temp, Injector pulse etc. Does anybody have idea whether these will work with our dodges.

Thanks,
Scott

I have seen some, but they about the same as buying a Cheap code reader. You see, Cummins supplies our engines to Dodge, but Dodge controls the engine ECM paramaters by hardwiring it into the truck through PCM. Which means Dodge's put their own program into the ECM. That is why most Cummins Repair shops refer the Dodge owners back to the Dealership unless they have Dodges DRBIII availiable with trained tech. If not, I sure some one will correct me.

To read our trucks parameters you could get your self a DRB III off of Ebay and be able to control everything electical bumper to bumper on the truck. Or write you own program if your handy with a computer and know how to read the one's and zero's.
