Hail and radiator

Went through some hail yesterday and it trashed the front radiator (I think it is the heat exchanger for the A/C). Seems like a bad design as the hail was not very large. This happen to any of you?

Not Hail yet in San Antonio, however...

Haven't run into any hail yet here in south Texas, however, I did run into a cow, (yes a full grown cow), at 10:30 at night, at 70 mph, about 40 miles south of Dallas. My lady was only 2 1/2 months old with 4k on the odo. On unlit I-35 south, suddenly saw something brown and shaggy directly in front, then felt like going over railroad tracks. Immediately pulled over. Just over $10K in damages. Geico covered all (minus $500 deductible). Fortunately for the small 4-door Hyundai following a ways behind me I hit it first, or it would have most likely went through their windshield. They hit the carcass and spun out, into concrete construction barriers, car totalled, but they a (Newly married couple) were conpletely unhurt. I now have a Ranchhand Legend front bumper/grillguard, doubt I will have that kind of damage ever again, plus if I do run into hail it will most likely protect the A/C fairly well (perforated panel about 12" inch or so in front of the A/C condensor).

Trashed like its leaking? If its not leaking, you can get a special kinda comb that will straighten all the fins out. No big deal.

Please tell me how to get this comb. It isn't leaking but it looks like crap. You can see all of the bent fins from outside.

I've seen them at some of the parts stores. There are different ones, depending on the spacing between the fins. You might try a google search. Good luck.

Check a a/c supply house for homes , we get different combs from there for residential use.
