Guys this dont sound to bad still isnt like the old ones with that good deep beller. Got any opinions on how to make them sound like the old ones> thanks

 

Sorry for the bad post should be the guts cut out of old muffler.

 

Actually, the exhaust tone is possibly a little louder on my 03 than the 98 I traded in on it. It's the engine that was making all the noise. I don't think I'd risk trying to gut the muffler because it will probably sound bad. Try an aftermarket muffler...

 

try a dynomax bullet 5"diameter with 3 1/2 in and out, 34 bucks

 

dynomax also makes a 4'' in and 4'' out, nice sound, got one on my first gen. It is straight through like a glass pack but much better. about $70 ;D
