OT, There is a new amsoil product out on the market, Amsphalt. It turns sand into asphalt in 20 min.

BOT
How about a long winch cable and staying on firm ground to pull someone out.

I run 12psi up front and 8.5psi in the rear tires. E rated so the side wall is a little stiffer.

That gives me a nice wide foot print with 35x12.5x18. I can crawl up alot of the sand hills around here.

Now I feel stupid. But I am definitely going to install some type of locking system in my differentials and also air down the tires.

give it a try with just air. Lockers aren't needed until you start liftin tires.

LMAO at all the Amsoil jokes "synthetic air" LOL Amsoil reps do seem a little cult member-ike I gotta admit..

I got stuck on Pismo beach this year- pulling a 26' toyhauler loaded- 136 gallons water, 36 gallons gas, 4 dirtbikes and a quad etcetc easily 10-11kgross. I did air down the truck tires to12-14 PSI. I got all the way to mile marker 6 on the wet beach, did fine on the wet sand and then I went make a mad dash up into the dunes- (I didnt want to camp near the sardine packed maniacs) I made it 3-400 yards up hill, turned left to put my door/awning side opposite the ocean and that was it, she sank like a stone. Told my boys "this is where we're camping!" When ready to leave, someone asked me "didja air down the trailer tires??" Nope. After airing down trailer tires and a little digging, the Dodge backed right up and mosied on down the dunes like I was on Amsoil Asphalt! I still dont understand why airing down the trailer tires helps, but it does. Make sure you use a gauge, airing down to 30 PSI from 80 on load range E tires wont help at all- you have to down till the side walls flare out, typically under 15 PSI does the trick.
