Got Hankook 10 ply DynaPro MT RT03 Tires
In the 315/70-17 size. Can get 65 psi in these (compared to 50). The tread is mroe aggressive too. The tires feel a little squishy on the road and the truck seems 'looser'. Is this because of teh tread? New tires? Not terrible, but also not as tight as teh old BF Goodrich AT's were.
Give them a couple hundred miles, and that feeling should go away. When I put mine on, I had the same thing. They are surprisingly quite and perform great in rain, snow, ice, and mud. I’ve had mine for just about a year or 23,000 miles, and they are still doing good. I should get about 10,000 more out of them. Mine are the 8 ply 315s.
Good luck,
Nick

The S-code for the 10 ply 35X12.50R17LT is 2001297. If you do not give the tire dealer the S-code they will tell you that it does not exist & show you the 8 ply.

I paid $225 apiece for them. We will see how they wear. I just finished up w/ my BF Goodrich AT (same size). Got over 60,000 on the AT's - they were a great tire. I got the Hankooks to try to improve milage (65 pis vs. 50 psi). We'll see.
Those are looking sweet.. I might have to see if I can find a dealer near me. I was gonna go with the Procomp extreme all terrains, but 4 wheel parts fubared my order, and put me on a waiting list, so I just cancelled the order with them.

He didn't get "D" rated 315's. He bought "E" rated, 10 ply 35 12.50 17's. The pdf file that was posted above shows them. You just gotta go to the 2nd page. I think he made a booboo at the start of his thread.
Might be better off with the Procomps since they have the 40,000 warrenty. I have the RT03 in 37" E rate size and if I get 25k out of them, I'll be doing good. My buddy has the same on his ford and the drive wheel really chews them up. I like the E rate but the compound is soft. They seem to be wearing a little less now that the top skin is gone but still there is no way they'll make the 30k mark.
