Glacier Fuel System

Where did you place your fuel pump?? I just received my GFS-391 fuel kit, I was looking for a good spot for the install.

Any recommendations out there? ? ? Maybe some pictures? ?

I have my 392 located mid frame, at about the back of the front door (I think). It was a long and complicated decision for me as to where I should put it...this was about the only place I could fit my drill to drill the mounting holes! I'll get some pictures tommorrow...and get some of my new air compressor too!

this is right inside the drivers side frame in front of the fuel tank. You can see the transfer case right in front of the filter....

Thanks for all the pictures, WoW I wish the underbelly of my truck looked that clean: My thought from looking at the inside frame rail was the same placement as TRITONT's setup! !

I'll take some pictures of the install also.

Looking forward to seeing how it works out for you. My truck is only 3 months old in that picture.... the reason it's so clean

So I'm looking at those pics, looks like you're cutting into the main fuel line, then there's 2 lines going to the motor? How's that work?

The steel braided looks sharp, but there's still a hose clamp or tie wrap coming off that top line, where's that one go?

Also, if the stock pump is only good for 8 lbs at an idle, do you leave it in or need to take it out to getr more flow?

My BD on extreme gets my fuel pressure down to ZERO when I really get into it,
might be doing a pump down the road, gotta figure what's involved.

There is one main fuel line, the other line is the return from the CP3 to the tank.

Was at the Glacier site, downloade the installation instructions, I see now how it works, gotta run a new line into the tank.

What's the difference between thier 'Competition' and 'Performance' kits?

the difference is the walbro 391 ( performance ) is about the same as the OEM pump maybe a little better, where the walbro 392 ( Comp ) is a high output pump. It's able to move more fuel at a higher pressure.
