Gotcha. The last of the 5.9's have the .74.

I would love to have the .79 in my NV5600. My dad's 06 has a lot more pulling power in 6th from the gearing, but it sure is nice when empty.

I don't know how many 2007 5.9's got the AE G-56. Mine is one and was built in early December 2006. For what I do the .74 OD ratio works great. When I tow I don't go far and rarely get to 65 mph. With my tires I can run in 5th at a little higher speed and still keep my rpm within reason.
