There are quite a few threads on "gears" and "mileage". If you do a search, you'll get a lot of info.

How will you be using your truck mainly? Unloaded? Loaded/towing? City? Highway?

As long as you don't have a lead foot there is little difference. Fuel consumption seems to increase above 2300 rpm on the gen 3s so with a 4.10 that represents a lower speed. Happy with mine but then I don't drive like a maniac either.

Thanks guys for your input. Living out here I do mainly freeway driving which means a minimum speed of 70 or else you get run over, so being as how my pockets ain't all that deep nowdays, think I'll opt for the 373's.

not sure what your gonna pull, but the 373`s are good for a lot of weight. the guys who do a lot of pulling, or pull heavy usually opt for the 4.10`s. i pull 6000 lbs, like its not there with the 373`s

According to Dodge, if I had the 4.10, my trailer tow rating would be 15,650 instead of 13,630. I really can't see towing anything that big, but will occasionally run on freeways with a 75 limit, so for me the choice was easy.

3.73's all the way for that kind of driving, you might want to even run a little taller tire so she don't spin so tight.
