Says nothing here about ATF+4:

"Synchromax™ is recommended for manual transmissions that
specify an automatic transmission fluid or motor oil. It is also ideal for
4x4 transfer cases and / or 2-cycle motorcycle gear boxes.
Synchromax™ is formulated with Royal Purple’s synthetic, proprietary
Synerlec® additive technology, which offers improved shift
quality over a wide temperature range and reduced gear noise.
Synchromax™ is fully compatible with all types of friction materials
and offers excellent corrosion and oxidation protection without
affecting the soft metals commonly found in manual transmission
synchronizers."

But its your transmission, and of course the tech is going to tell you that...they want to sell their product.

Truthfully, I might give it a try though...doesn't matter to me, my warranty is up on the transmission anyways. And, who know? It may improve shift quality after all over transmission fluid. I've honestly never liked the idea of the red stuff in my manual...

to a point i agree, but i had a 5 speed mustang and it called for atf fluid and i used royal purple and it was like a new transmission, super smooth and quiet.

i just dont wanna have a tranny problem and they are like well u didnt use mopar atf+4 so your warranty is shot. i know by law they are not supposed to void it but dodge is very funny when u have a warranty claim, but i know that if i use rp, amsoil or redline the tranny will smooth out

weighted shift ***** have been used on the sports car shifters for YEARS with great results...I figured if it helps that much on small gearboxes that it will work just the same on our BIG gearbox trannys...let me tell you it does.
weighted shift ****=shifts like butter

G56 does not have a weighted shift **** form the factory....it may have a heavy stick..but I feel that is for vibration not shifting ease...the weight needs to be up top..not down low by the shift tower

Love the g56. solid, positive shifts. A fluid change made mine a little smoother, just enough to put a bigger smile on my face. I could not ask for a better tranny in this application.

Question

53 ******, tell me more about your weighted shift *****. Do they screw directly onto the stick threads? How much higher are they than the factory **** once installed (how far does the stick go into them)?
