Happens on sharper turns...not all the time only happened a few times. I hear it on the left side. ( Passenger side) Oh and onyl heard it when turning left.

Any ideas? Its going in on Monday. The Steering damper has some play...is that normal? I cant see anything else...might be tie rods who the heck knows. I just hope my dealer smiles and puts that under warranty

 

Sway bar end link( the vertical piece)...tighten to 125 #'s torque. I recommend you check the torque specs....I could have the #'s wrong.

Whoops!! I didn't read your sig I'm sure you have already put in aftermarket end links w/ your lift, if not they are prolly bent and should be replaced with some "custom" links.

 

try lookimg at the inner u joint on that side,also the bolts on the bottom of the shocks could be worn they are tricky *****'s to find.also see if your hub bearing looks ok,need to take the wheel off and spin the rotor see if loose....jc

 

Just spoke with the service guy...cause I really dont want to be paying repairs.

He said as long as its a Dodge part thats broken...its under warranty. Obviously if its a superlift component thats on me.
Another reason why I like my local Dodge dealer.
Really..you pay big bucks to have a HD truck with a Cummins, it should be able to take turning 37's.
