Fuel Tank Tips ?????

Fuel Tank Tips ?????

Got to drop my fuel tank to fix a leak. Anyone got tips ? Should be pretty straight forward huh ?

Pull the bed instead. Six bolts and a wire or two gets you there. OH yes, Three helpers and move backwards onto saw horses. Much quicker and not near as much mess and fuss.

if you drop it, only do one side of the straps and make sure its empty as you can comfortably handle. use a floor jack and plywood to let it down a bit to disconnect the wires, etc. at the top.

its not that hard jack up the truck some to make it easier, i did it by myself and held the tank up it doesnt weigh that much hardest part is disconnecting the fuel lines becareful they will break
