Fuel system maintenance

I have had my truck at my local 5star dealer 3 times to get rid of the rpm's pulsing at an idle. I was told that Dodge has a fuel system maintenance coming out within the next 2 weeks. I am not sure if they are buying time or actaully telling the truth.
Ofcourse the first thing they did on the second time in the shop for this was test for bad fuel. LOL

What year of truck?

I think there is a bulletin out regarding faulty FCA and relating to idle surge? May want to start there.

I believe the bulletin is: http://dodgeram.info/tsb/2005/14-004-05.htm

Another 10000 miles and I am out or warranty and this dealer will not see me again.
My last truck was purchased at 55000 miles and sold at 120000 miles. I spent less on that truck than I have on my current truck that is under warranty.
They charge $100 deductable plus a $75 diagonstic fee for everything.
With the current problems I paid $350 and have not had my problems resolved.

At the very least use the bulletin as a diagnostic aid to help you fix it...whether it is at the dealer, another shop or by yourself, there is some good info in there to help you diagnose the issue. I provided the link in my first post to the bulletin.

I hear you. I will be glad when my warranty expires! It is bad to have to say that about a vehicle. I never had to argue these issues for the 30 YEARS I drove GM vehicles. It is like you have to beg them to fix something that wasn't right
to begin with.
