Fuel Starvation
I see a couple of threads on fuel supply issues and this reminded me to advise the forum what has happened to me last time I was out with the 5th wheel. New oil change before the trip but decided to not replace the fuel filter. Everything is stock on my truck as I have never seen a need to replace or upgrade anything. So we were cruising through an area with minor grades and I noticed my fuel pressure around 1psi and falling to 0. I measure pressure after the CP3 on the return back to the tank and normally it hovers from 5 to 8. Got to nearest town and bought a replacement fuel filter and changed it. Back to 5-8psi up steep hills. Just a caution to the members as the fuel must gel up real bad in the filter as it did not look dirty but alas the results prove it.
