I just had my trans. replaced on warranty by the dealer, ever since I got the truck back it uses way more fuel. I used to get 800 km to a tank now I only get maybe 600 km to a tank. They also replaced the oil cooler with a higher flow after market unit, and it seems like my fan is engaged more often, but I can't see it case my fuel mileage to drop that much, or could it? Thanks

 

I bet they flashed it to the latest software while they had it.

 

whats the latest software do? I have my pmt installed on the tow setting.

 

Did you return it to stock before you took it in for service? If not and they flashed it, your BD may not be working any more.

 

I returned it to stock before they got there fingers on it.

 

Tranny has to relearn your habits.

They probably flashed it, my MPG dropped 1.5 after they flashed it for another issue.
