Fuel filter # from Dodge

Does anybody know if the fuel filter you buy from Dodge is the newer smaller micron one? How can I tell if it is? Anybody know the part number?

I know Geno's sells a 10 and 7 micron filter. Don't know what the dealers sell.

Cummins dealer sells the new ones.....like $14 ea.

New 7 micron filter, Dodge part # 68001914AA. Cost at dealer $22.31 + tax.
New filter has thin plastic end caps, looked to be about 1/8".

I believe the Dodge filter to be a Fleetguard. I used to sell them, they are owned by Cummins. You will not find a better filter on the market. Buy the Fleetguard from a dealer or Geno's and save that dealer markup. It is the same filter. I would recommend using the 7 micron filter.

I just bought fuel and oil filters from scheiddiesel.com. Best price that I've found.FS 19800E $12.15 and LF 3894 $9.26. Great customer service as well.
