Fuel Color??
So the green is ULSD huh? Hmmm - I filled up for the first time a couple of weeks ago from a pump that was labelled ULSD - all the others had been LSD labelled. I don't remember it being green the last time I changed the fuel filter, so the green kinda got me nervous about algae.
if your worried about the algae get some biocide or whatever that stuffs called. mine usually looks kinda like mountain dew. but it seems everytime i get fuel it has a different hue to it. i try to keep my pretty full because i live near houston the humidity is so bad and i want to keep the condensation down.

I just got fuel at shamrock yesterday and when I put some in my additive bottle it was clear. Smelled the same and felt oily. I noted it on my recipt and filed it away. Truck seems to be running O.K.

I have gotten some that was labeled ULSD and it was fairly clear. The Flying J where I get 99% of my fuel is still labeled LSD and looks like Mt. Dew.

Used up all of my 5 gal containers (12) on my last trip up the Alcan. Some were green, some were different shades of Mountain Dew (I liked Rusty's discription) one was kind of blue and some were red which I remember getting in Montana. None of them were over four months old but were filled up in about 10 different states.
The really scary thing is the amount of crud, flakes of rust ect in the bottom of every one of the cans.
