FS-2500 filter system

I have an 04 with 66K miles and have been reading up on this unit. Where is the best(cheapest) place to purchase? Where is the best place to mount it?

FS-2500 is an advertiser on here under the screen name "Accurate". He's not on here very often, but they do (or at least use to) a discount for DTR members. I think he waived shipping costs. Other than that I haven't seen to many places that sell it cheaper.

Trevor is correct. Talk to Tim @ Accurate Diesel he's their main distributor and a very nice guy.

do work that well on the 3rd gens i herd alot of things about the injectors being the root cause of soot, im sure it can only help but is it worth the 500 bucks to buy and install? what you all think?

From what I was told by Accurate the 04.5 and later will still have soot in the oil due to the 3rd injection event. 03-early 04 will probably have honey colored oil. They also told me they're going to have a new filter that suppose to filter out even more, but it'll have to be changed out more often and it won't keep the oil free of soot either. IMHO any extra filtering you do will have a benefit regardless of brand of filter system.

He never said when the new style will be available. I think you'd have to call.
