Front wheel speed sensor? without bearing?

I was doing the ball joints and u joints in the front of my 04 2500 4wd. OK in my trying to clean everything up , in anticipation of having to take it apart later in life, I broke the speed sensor. That was bad enough, then I look and I don't see where you can buy it seperate from the bearing? Is this true, if so does someone have one from a wheel bearing replacement they have done? Can I drive it without the sensor or will I have problems besides no antilocks? HELP my feeling good of getting this far now has me feeling like poo poo.

I can probable find one at work. They do atleast one set of wheel bearings a day in the surface shop. Only bad thing is I am on my seven days off. I will be back to work Sunday night.

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
I understand the right door falls off if you drive without ABS speed sensor!!

Naw, you still have brakes just antilock non functioning.

Is that the right door for the right speed sensor and the left if a left one goes out? Ya had me going with the first comment (just another smart A), wasn't sure if the anti locks wouldn't function and get a dreaded light, but I saw some posts about the brakes being locked on and wasn't sure if there was some obscure thing that might happen. One thing I've learned is the mentallity of the computer is mind boggling. If it's just the anti locks I can waite for one rather than buying $400 bearing for the sensor, **** them for packaging it with the bearing, and looks like NAPA did the same thing with theirs, weird.

OK thanks I see they have 2 listed so i called NAPA and found that they do sell them, but part is so new its not even stocked yet. Apparently truck is to new to need that kind of stuff, ran into the same problem when i needed a front brake hose.
Still maybe I'll wait and see if coolumconst has a used one why spend $$ if I can get a perfectly good used one?
