Front hub bearings?
I have a noise coming from the drive line it sounds like I am driving on a rumble strip but not as loud. I just checked the Ujoints and they look okay nothing loose. I am thinking maybe the front bearing carriers I replaced the front axle Ujoints last fall and every thing looked good then. This noise just started last night anybody have any Ideas ????????
Thanks

Jack up the front of the truck. Grab each tire at the 9 o'clock/3 o'clock positions and try to rock the tire back and forth. Also give each wheel a spin. If the hub assemblies are bad you'll know right away. If the wheel has any play in it, the hubs are bad. Replace them. If they go on the road you'll be dead in the water. When they go usually the only thing holding the wheel and tire on the truck are the brake rotors and calipers. If only one side is bad I would suggest you change both. Usually when one goes the other is soon to follow.
