Exclamation Front End Work Needed

I have a 2004.5 SWD 2500 that needs upper control arms, sway bar links and shocks replaced. All the rubber is rotted and the ball joints seals are cracked. My question is on a scale from 1-10 how hard is this job to do yourself?? It looks pretty easy to do and I am very mechanically inclined but have never tackled this on this truck or anything this heavy duty. All hand tools only. And what components should I replace them with? Bilstein Shocks, which brand upper and sway adjustable links? Also thinking of adding a 2" leveling kit/bushings while its apart. Anything I am missing please let me know thanks for the help.......

Front end work is not as challenging as it is heavy work. It can be dangerous as you are working with a loaded spring, you may also need some special tools depending on what you are replacing. There is a certain amount of "risk" associated with suspension work, if it is done incorrectly it could cause an accident on the road! I suggest getting a shop manual and looking at some videos before attempting.
