Front Drive shaft and 4wd wont shift

Just wondering if anyone has the dimensions ffor the bolts on the front driveshaft on the front diff side.

Also my T-case wont shift with the electric shifter. It just blinks and blinks and wont stop. Not to sure why it started doing this. I replacd the shifter motor twice now. It fixed it once but now it seems no good again. I traced the wires and such and checked fuses but nothing seems wring. Dont want to take it to dealer as im in the mist or replacing the head and cant afford another big bill at this present time. The T-case will shift manually no problems so i have ruled out the t-case being no good.

The front drive shaft diff end has torx bolts. I think they are 45 or 40, but you will need the torx bit to be 3 to 4 inches long. I had to search to find one at a good price, finally found at Autozone.

Don't know about your electric shift trans case.

I know the torq size lol just wondering if anyone knew the tread pitch as i lost mine and im gonna relace them with grd 10 bolts as i stripped the torq bolts out. Ya the Electrical is kinda starting to bug me as im stumpped and i dont like taking it to the dealer if i dont have to as the labour rate is 105-125/hr up here.

I read on this forum or another that someone had found that Ford has the drive shaft bolts with a hex head that is a perfect replacement. Wish I had bookmarked it.

I did a search and found this but not certain this is correct.

M8-1.25X30 grade 8

Several are replacing the torx with allen head.

YA id be happy with allen heads but the only decent ones that i found to remove them was a snap on tool. But i need to chase the threads as i havent had a driveshaft in for a while and the holes rusted a bit. Thanks for the measurement. Now to figure out the shifter servo.
