Thank You.
Any tips on breaking the seal loose without messing up the gasket?

Biggest thing is if you can help it not to start prying-you may damage the gasket. If you do damage it, you can get them from the dealer, but they are like 30 bucks. I have some Mag hytecs coming in the mail soon so that takes care of that for me. Just pull the bolts carefully and try moving the cover gently. It should come.

If all else fails ,tap the edge of the cover with a brass hammer. OK use a block of wood.

I see it's a 4 wheel drive. Everybody says it's hard to get the top bolt out. Just jack up one tire & you have all the clearance you need. Don't remember witch side & don't feel like going outside.

Mine was easy, front and rear, heck when I had most of the bolts out, the pan almost fell off.

Front took a slight nudge with my hand, but wasnt stuck at all.

Took the cover off, gasket off, cleaned both mating surfaces with brakecleaner, and put it back together. Torque it down evenly as you work your way around on the bolts, then snug it down, no leaks
