Front Caliper is VERY stiff?

Just got our new 2008 3500 4x4 and the front calipers seems way to tight but not sure what it should really feel like. The Wheel does not spin free when jacked up with no pressure. Has the hydorboost brake which I have not messed with much any help would be appreciated.

Bleed the caliper, could be trapped air. If no help, compress the caliper as you would to replace pads, start eng and apply brakes, then see if they release, if not replace caliper, might put new pads if required, both sides;;;;
Note dodge used to make the caliper cups out of phenolic, they would swell after time. if new caliper is required make shure it has medal cup,;;;;;

One thing to consider is the brake hose, they are made of rubber and most often overlooked when doing a brake job.

People often do not support the caliper properly and allow it to hang on the hose while working on it. Add to that the tendency for the rubber to rot from within and you run into a situation where brake fluid will flow only one way through the hose because of debris in the hose causing a caliper not to release completely.
