Can someone please direct me to any thread that lists the sequence for R&R of the front u-joints in my 2006 3500 4x4 Dodge Ram Dually? Thanks, Dan H

This has all the info you need to know! Not too hard, just be careful pulling your bearings not to damage them.

Well that thread you need to follow up to pressing the ball joints out if not doing ball joints. At that point just replace the front u joints as you would any other u joint.

Mine were very tight also use a lot of PB Blaster I've done them with a old socket and a BFH and a ball joint press was easier.

Are the front axle u-joints plastic bedded like the drive shaft u-joints?

If they are, you need to heat up the metal to melt the plastic to remove them.

Axleshaft u-joints are not plastic bedded. Just used lots of penatrating spray.
