That is the question. I am waiting till 20K mi. to switch to all Amsoil syn. & I have heard bad things about using an engine flush before changing over i.e.: clogging filter/pump & losing oil pressure due to this. What do ya'll think about the flush? Is it necessary? TIA

 

That new of an engine I wouldn't worry about a thing. That new of an engine you probably wouldn't even need to flush but if it makes you feel better go ahead.

 

I agree you don't need to flush a engine that new IMO.
The synthetic oil will clean up things for you on it's own! with out the flush.

 

Flushing is a waste.
