Like I said earlier, I was unable to cross-reference the listed part number. If you have the exact Fleetguard number, please provide it for everyone else. I didn't check my local Cummins dealer though! I will also say that after driving my truck this morning, I did some 3000RPM gear shifts, and not one bit of smoke! My truck seems to like it.

That filter looks like a perfect addition to my soon to be modded stock airbox. I was at homedepot today and picked up supplies...lol.

I did the airbox mod and gutted my torque tube today. Epoxy is drying on the torque tube as I type. I did the airbox mod differently. I will post pictures later.

Thanks, I searched the number. Geno's already has it on their page. I hadn't noticed. https://www.genosgarage.com/prodinfo...umber=AF-26106

I'll never use K&N on a non-carbureted motor. The issue is that the oil will microscopically mist the air stream, contaminating the mass air sensor.

There is also some contention that filtered air quality is questionable.

Look at the flyer:

I'm going out on a limb and saying this is not a fleetguard air filter. The media looks like Napa Gold/Wix.

I`m trying something alittle different. I`m going to put the newer air box from a 6.7 truck on my 06. I should get it Monday & will let anybody who is interested know how it works. It should be a direct replacement. I`m doing it this way so I can buy a filter for a 6.7 anywhere I want. The new 5.9 filter can only be bought from a dealer as far as I know. I`m hoping for a better filter & maybe a little more air. What do you think?

I have no issue finding Amsoil Ea air filters for my 5.9L. They are a dry filter and no need to spend the extra money switching out air boxes. I do have my air box modded for better flow.
