It is suppose to be 8 hours.

 

Alldata says 3 hours for upper and lower on one side. I usually charge 4 hours per side, unless it comes apart easy. Usually everything is rusted and stuck.

 

Kinda odd , when I did mine , 94 with pressed on rotors & rust holes in fenders , I did not have any problems , the next one a 04 , nice clean truck , the rotors are spouse to come after taking the caliper off .
The rotors were so rusted on , I had to the take the rotor & bearing off together and one side , the bearing split .
Had to chisel more than 1/8 " of rust off the inside of the hat , to separate the bearing from rotor .

i did my upper ball joints yesterday along with my front brakes and rotors. the moog adjustable and greaseable uppers i put in 14 months ago were toast! replaced them with the same ones (rockauto.com warrantied them) i had help from a buddy and we did it without a lift- from start to finish it took us 7 hours.

( i also have dyna trac locking front hubs)
