well, with 2500 miles i thought i might as well change out the original oil. After reading up on some posts, i thought i might be in trouble. ??? ???<br> <br> First , i tried to fit my 5 gallon bucket under the truck, but it did not fit.(too lazy to put the truck on the ramps) I have an oil catcher, but i just wasn`t sure if it could hold 3 gallons. Being brave, i put the container under the truck, and started to remove the plug.to my surprise the plug was easy to remove.<br><br> well, after the oil finnished draining, my container could not hold another drop <br> <br><br> It was now time for the oil filter. We`ve all heard the rumors that DC hired Godzilla to put the oil filters on with an impact gun with my Geno`s garage six in one oil filter remover, i pushed, and pulled, pushed and pulled,and FINALLYgot the darn thing off. you can still read &quot;snap-on&quot; on my palm I dont know how you did it before they put those grip things on the bottom of the filter.<br><br> I then filled the new filter with oil, rubbed a little oil on the rubber. And on she went.<br><br> I had my three 1 gallon jugs of Dello 400 ready to go. 8)i grabbed my funnel and was ready to go. As i began pouring the first gallon in the funnel(sp) a little got away from me, not being 10 feet tall, i couldn`t see in the top of the funnel.after i got a step to stand on (and a little speedy dry for the driveway )the other 2 gallons hit the funnel with no problem<br><br> I ran the truck for a few(10) minutes, shut her down. waited a spell. and checked the oil level, right on the money ;D ;D ;D<br><br> so there is my story, i had fun every minute of it<br><br> DD361
