FCA replacement

I was reading some fuel system troubleshooting directions in another post that appeared to be copied from a factory service manual. The directions to troubleshoot th fca were to hook scan tool up and listen for click upon disengagement of FCA. The directions said if click was heard move on to next step and if not to replace fuel injector pump. My question is if my fca is bad can I expect the dealer to replace the whole pump under warranty?

Depends on the Dealer, or Dodge mandates.

I never have heard that manner of diagnosis before. The fuel control actuator can start to stick because of contamination, or the solenoid can go kaput, I believe alot of them are replaced needlessly.

What makes you believe your's is faulty?
