Fca ???
easiest way to test is to swap it out with a good one. Have any friends locally who drive a 3rd gen?? If the truck still will not fire it might be the injectors are leaking down and not allowing the system to build enough pressure to start the motor.
You can also unplug the electrical connection from the FCA, it may start, but that does not mean it's the FCA.
By unplugging the FCA connection, it will spike your rail pressure to max, which may overcome a low rail pressure problem(causing no start) due to something else, leaky injector(s), cross tube(s), rail pressure relief valve.
It has been stated, you need 3500 psi rail pressure to start, if you cannot obtain that level for any of the above reasons, no start... or it could be the FCA.
Some folks say you can monitor your rail pressure while cranking.... mine always starts before the gauge even registers, so I do not know if that's true.

Good Luck, Jess
