fan pully bolt stripped

One out of the 7 or 8 bolts holding the fan pully to the water pump (or what ever it is held on to) stripped on me, I have tried to use a neddle nose vise grips and it just spins. So I've got about 3/4 inch to work with. I don't have a torch to cut it off. I don't have a sawsall here with me and even if I did, I don't think any blade would be long enough to reach it. I have barely any leverage. any ideas?

First, why are you removing the fan pulley?...If you are removing the waterpump, can you remove it with the pulley attached?...I've had to do that on other vehicles from time to time...It was a pain, but it got the job done......Ben

I just need to get the fan and shroud out of the way so I can have some room to get the power steering pump off

Gotcha...You may have to pull the water pump also if you can't find anything (like maybe a hacksaw blade) to get to the bolt......Ben
