Faint Knocking/Tapping Noise

Sorry for the mishap, but at least she back and running and running well. Any idea what caused the problem to begin with? Was it a faulty part or just run her a little to hard?

Probably poor install on my part.....over torqued one of the bolts for the CFM+ intake

The metal that broke off the head was the casting area for the elbow mounting point on the head

just for the fact of I would probably sell that intake or throw it away I wouldnt fully blame yourself you arent the only one to have an issue with the cfm

You are not the first guy that has done that. I saw the results of a guy that put a banks hi-ram on and broke off a piece only difference was when I saw his it was sitting on a pallet after the metal dropped and it cost him a new motor it sucks but your lucky. Guess that's why I use a 1/4 drive for everything can't crank to hard or ratchet breaks LOL
