It totally depends on how long you keep the truck! I think you need to talk to the dealer, they can discount those prices if they want to.

LOOK TO WARRENTY DIRECT FOR AN EXTENDED WARRANTY. I AM ON MY FOURTH VEHICLE INSURED THRU THEM AND THERE IS NOTHIND AVAILABLE ON THE MARKET THAT EVEN COMES CLOSE TO THEM.
TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THE REPAIR SHOP OF YOUR CHOICE, THEY CALL IN FOR PAYMENT AND ARE GIVEN A CREDIT CARD NUMBER AND PAID ON THE SPOT.
THEY HAVE REPIRED EVERYTHING I HAVE EVER PRESENTED TO THEM ( even soft trim ie. cup holder and plastic power window switch holders.)
i get the 100,000 mile 4 year policies. my diesel was around 1500.00 and they take monthley payments.
