No, I'm not making that up. I got a letter from Chrysler yesterday informing me that my washer reservoir warranty has been extended to 5/60 (from 3/36) because they are known to crack. They also said if I had it repaired already out of warranty they'd reimburse me for it. Even included a form for such. That's nice of them I guess.

Ironically, the only thing I've had break on the truck so far is the driver's side washer nozzle, actually just below the hood where the washer fluid line connects to the nozzle. I repaired that myself temporarily with a piece of poly tubing, but I need to take it in before my 3/36 expires here soon.

 

It's awful nice that Ram has their priorities straight. Ugh!

 

I got one as well, but i have experienced this failure already. My guess is the extended warranty period means they haven't found a fix for the problem.

 

My 11 had the washer reservoir recalled.. Replaced during an oil change.

 

I got one to but Im @ 151k miles... so it does me no good
